That’s me at three years old.
Storytelling is the kind of thing that made me take the family camcorder on “permanent loan” so I could recreate The Lord of the Rings in the backyard.
It’s driven me—literally—across entire states and regions to talk with people, whether it’s at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC or a homeless shelter in Poughkeepsie, NY.
After graduating from Boston University with a degree in Journalism, I worked in Poughkeepsie, NY as a newspaper photographer for the Poughkeepsie Journal. Subsequently, I switched from journalism to higher education, working at Dutchess Community College and then at American University in Washington, DC. Now I work as a federal contractor, currently working with the U.S. Department of Energy. I’ve also created nonprofit video campaigns and a documentary series.
Above all else, I’m curious and eager to learn—and I’m looking forward to telling your story.
